Wow, what a busy week!  It started off as I had the pleasure of shooting Esther and Daniel’s wedding at the beautiful Wild Acres Villa here in Central Florida.  Just another fun wedding and great people to go along with it.  Here are a few from their day.  Thanks again Esther and Daniel for having me be apart of your special day!

Leigh Ann + Sean Wedding

Posted in Weddings on June 9, 2010 by Jason Flowers

Last weekend I shot Leigh Ann & Sean’s wedding in Daytona Beach.   What a fun wedding!  Leigh Ann & Sean are def made for each other and both are just amazing people.  We pretty much shot this wedding from top to bottom so there’s more pictures here than from past weddings.

Kathy Guyer was my second shooter, of course.  Some of these shots are hers…she’s awesome!!  For larger pictures, view a slideshow HERE.

Enjoy the shots and thanks again to Leigh Ann & Sean for letting us capture your special day!

As the girls were getting ready, there was a knock on the door…  Sean had left a little something for his bride…

Amy+Jarrod – Colorado Wedding

Posted in Weddings on May 23, 2010 by Jason Flowers

Last week I had the honor of shooting my first out-of-state wedding in Colorado.  This wedding was the most special I’ve gotten a chance to shoot because I spent my younger years with the groom and his family, and to me, they are family.  The entire trip was amazing from the wedding to the fellowship in between.  Thanks again Amy and Jarrod for your warm hospitality.

Colorado Roundup

I just got back from 3 days in Colorado!  During the last day of my stay, I got a chance to venture out to Rocky Mountain National Park and the surrounding areas.  At first we hiked to Dream Lake.  The hike was brutal!  Only 1.1 miles but the thin air and ice-covered trail definitely took its toll.   My mother who was hiking with me, actually slipped and fell on the slick ice on our way back down and broke her hand in the process.  We saw wildlife, wildflowers, and some really breathtaking views so all-in-all it was a good trip, minus the broken hand.  Here are a few from the trip and others will be added to my online gallery within the next week.  Enjoy the shots!

The colors of the early morning sun shine though the clouds and over Hallett Peak.  (Featured in my online gallery.)

As the sun rose further above the horizon, the natural colors of the landscape began to come out. (Featured in my online gallery.)

A closer look at Hallett Peak.

As we were leaving the Dream Lake trailhead, we stopped for a moment to capture some images of Glacier Creek which runs alongside Bear Lake Rd. (Each of these are featured in my online gallery.)

An elk in Rocky Mountain National Park.  There were several in the herd and I captured this one as it broke from the pack.

Finally I leave you with some wildflowers that we found just outside of Boulder the day before.  (Both are featured in my online gallery.)

Georgia+Dean Wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting Georgia and Dean’s wedding in my home town of Deland.   As always, I had Kathy Guyer shooting along with me…I’ve included a few of her shots below.  The wedding was fun and the weather was HOT.  All in all, good times.  Here are some of the shots from the day.

7 Months

Thought I’d share these shots I took tonight of my wife at a hair shy of 7 months pregnant. We are expecting a boy sometime late July/early August and decided to name him Parker.  Our daughter Kylie also got in a few of the shots as well.  Here are some of the shots.  More can be viewed here: http://flowersphotography.zenfolio.com/p88081143/h366439de#h366439de

Session at the Gardens

Posted in Sessions with tags , on April 13, 2010 by Jason Flowers

Well this month has been my busiest to date with no signs of a slow down.  Next month, we’ve got two weddings including a trip to Colorado and the Keys.  Between the madness, I’ve managed to fit in some landscape sessions for those who are missing them (including myself).

So, last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting the Novak’s family session at the Ormond Beach Memorial Gardens.  It was so cool of them to make the drive from Deland and I’m sure glad they did…this place is awesome!  Aside from the great location, I was really excited to, again, take some pictures of their little girl who is just the coolest!  Finally, to top it all off we had an amazing sunset towards the end…here are some of the shots.
